What are the responsibilities and job description for the Restaurant Facilities Technician position at Tavern in the Square?
Broadway Hospitality Group is currently in search of a Facilities Assistant (reporting to Facilities Manager) responsible for repairs and maintenance for restaurant portfolio of 20 locations located in MA, CT, RI and NH.
Objectives of this role
- Performing routine maintenance on facilities and making repairs as needed.
- Ensure all building facilities adhere to proper safety standards and cleaning procedures
- Maintain equipment and building provisions to meet health and safety requirements
- Assist in completion of building installments and refurbishments
- Maintaining day-to-day operations of facilities
- Keep building and all facilities up to code and accurately follow maintenance protocol
Responsibilities
- Complete routine maintenance repairs
- Monitor interior and exterior areas of building for cleanliness and general repair
- Comply with all health and safety policies and procedures
- Support maintenance and installment work as needed
- Documenting reports on maintenance, repairs, safety and other occurrences for supervisors and other relevant staff
- Preparing facilities for changing weather conditions
Skills and qualifications
- Basic mechanical skills and knowledge of electrical, plumbing, HVAC and other building systems
- Proficiency with repair tools and techniques
- Excellent time management and multitasking skills
- Great leadership and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, including the ability to speak with all levels of employees, vendors and team members
- Strong attention to detail
- Valid driver’s license
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $75,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year
