Tavern in the Square Dedham; Proudly independent, proudly local, and powerfully tied to community, an evolution of the classic neighborhood restaurant, is soon to be entering the community of Dedham and in search of passionate team members with an open mind and positive attitude for our newest location. We are seeking familiar faces to the industry to help provide a modern hospitality experience.

POSITION SUMMARY
A server is the direct contact with our clientele.
You should be organized, engaging, responsible and ready to be hospitable in order to provide a lasting experience. With this position, comes the responsibility of bringing the information given to you directly to the consumer. You should be studious about menu items, restaurant policy and steps of service.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS Servers responsibilities include waiting on guests, ringing in orders, creating a fun atmosphere, and other general restaurant work to keep the restaurant functioning.
- Pertinent experience in a direct or related field
- Understanding of restaurant etiquette
- Familiarity with health and safety regulations
- Experience in serving tables or dealing with face-to-face customer interaction
- Flexibility in scheduling
- High level of communication skills both with guests and management
- Organizational skills to manage your section and the restaurant on the whole
- A positive demeanor and willingness to work in a fun, energetic and fast paced environment.
- Good physical condition to walk and stand during an entire shift
- Ability to read your tables and anticipate needs of guests
- Willingness to participate in a rigorous training schedule prior to being scheduled live shifts
