We are seeking an experienced Industrial Maintenance Technician with advanced mechanical expertise, specializing in troubleshooting and maintaining industrial equipment, including PLCs, and servo systems. The ideal candidate will ensure the reliability and efficiency of manufacturing machinery in a dynamic production environment while contributing to facility maintenance as needed.
Key Responsibilities:
- Mechanical Systems and Maintenance:
- Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on mechanical systems, including conveyors, hydraulic and pneumatic systems, gearboxes, and bearings.
- Replace and align motors, pumps, shafts, and other mechanical components.
- Electrical and PLC Systems:
- Basic understanding of PLC’s (Allen-Bradley, Siemens, etc.).
- Diagnose and resolve issues with servo motors, drives, and control systems.
- Perform maintenance on 3-phase electrical systems, VFDs, and related equipment.
- Facility Maintenance:
- Conduct basic building repairs such as plumbing, HVAC, and structural maintenance.
- Vendor and Team Collaboration:
- Work beside external contractors for equipment installation, upgrades, or repairs.
- Work closely with production teams to minimize downtime and ensure operational efficiency.
- Inventory and Documentation:
- Work with CMMS inventory system.
- Safety and Compliance:
- Follow company safety protocols and participate in safety training programs.
- Ensure compliance with electrical codes, OSHA standards, and company policies.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Experience:
- Minimum of 3 years in industrial maintenance, with hands-on experience in:
- Mechanical Systems: Hydraulic and pneumatic equipment, gears, bearings, and conveyor systems.
- Electrical Systems: PLC, servo systems, and industrial automation.
- Fabrication: Welding (MIG, TIG, stick), cutting, and light machining.
- Technical Knowledge:
- Proficient in reading and interpreting electrical schematics, blueprints, and mechanical diagrams.
- Familiarity with sensors, actuators, and industrial communication protocols (Ethernet/IP, Modbus, etc.).
- Additional Skills:
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to work independently.
- Prior experience in industries like corrugated packaging, paper production, or similar manufacturing is advantageous.
Pay: $28.00 - $34.00 per hour
