Lab Technician
Overview:
Lab Technician will assist with setup and running of test programs, maintenance of test equipment, clean-up of lab, and lab equipment.
Responsibilities:
· Instrument Calibrations
· Analyze Process Samples, performing chemical and physical tests on various material and water samples
· Analyze Final Product Prior to shipment
· Monitor Process Additives
· Paperwork as required
· Troubleshoot and Repair Instruments
· QC Analysis for Process
· Attend Safety and Departmental Training
· Will abide by the quality policy in regards to ISO 9000 and will abide by the
· Environmental, Health & Safety Requirements as they pertain to ISO 14001.
· Work outside normal shift hours as needed.
· Maintain regular and reliable attendance.
· Other duties as assigned
Requirements:
· Eight hours of college chemistry; or an associate degree in Chemical -Technology (Laboratory), Process Technology; or three years industrial lab experience; or 15 consecutive months Polyolefin/PVC/Polymer Analysis lab experience
· High School graduate or equivalent.
· Experience in Plastic converting processes and testing is preferred.
· Maintain regular and reliable attendance.
· Rotating schedule (shift work), able to work overtime if needed and be on call

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $17.00 - $25.00 per hour
