What are the responsibilities and job description for the Director, Data Center Investments, Private Equity position at Taurus Search?
My client is looking to add a Director level headcount to the flagship team dedicated to investments within data centers in North America.
Roles/Responsibilities:
• Primarily responsible for underwriting and executing investments, while also have the opportunity source and originate new investments
• Investment execution includes deal structuring, evaluating optimal capital structure, sourcing and negotiating bank and tax equity financing, and leading buy-side/sell-side M&A activities
• Leading/supporting strategic and financial due diligence for new investments
• Working as a collaborative and value-add member across all aspects related to deal sourcing, financing, execution and business development
Qualifications:
• 10 years of relevant experience in energy and/or infrastructure investing, preferably at a developer/IPP, investment bank and/or PE/Infra fund
• Demonstrable record of successfully leading the underwriting and leading the execution of infrastructure, private equity or related investments
• Experience with – and strong understanding of – renewable energy investing
• Strong network of suppliers/contractors, developers/IPPs, investment bankers, financing sources and origination channels
• Successful experience managing teams and strong leadership skills
• Excellent quantitative and analytical skills and very strong attention to detail
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Able to work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment and to adapt quickly to changing priorities
• Undergraduate degree from a top academic institution
• MBA and/or CFA not required but preferred
