Corporate Sales – Rates, FX & Commodities (FICC)

Taurus Search is partnering with an established international financial institution seeking a Corporate Sales professional to join its FICC business in New York.

Working within a lean, experienced team, the successful candidate will develop corporate client relationships and deliver hedging and risk management solutions across interest rates, FX and commodities.

The position offers broad product exposure, direct access to senior colleagues and the opportunity to take genuine ownership of business development initiatives. The team is particularly interested in ambitious, commercially driven individuals who are eager to develop their careers in a collaborative, entrepreneurial environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and manage corporate client relationships, identifying opportunities to deliver derivatives and risk management solutions.
• Originate new business and expand existing relationships across interest rates, FX and commodities.
• Partner closely with Corporate Banking and Relationship Management teams to identify and execute cross-selling opportunities.
• Collaborate with trading and product specialists to structure, price and deliver tailored client solutions.
• Contribute to the continued growth of the FICC business through proactive client engagement and commercial initiatives.

Candidate Profile

• Approximately 5 – 8 years of relevant financial markets experience, ideally at the Associate, AVP or VP level.
• Experience in corporate derivatives sales, with exposure to interest rates, FX and/or commodities.
• Strong commercial instincts, a proactive approach to business development and demonstrable relationship-building ability.
• A sound understanding of derivatives and their application in managing corporate financial risks.
• An ambitious, self-motivated individual with strong communication skills and the ability to develop expertise across multiple asset classes.

Prior experience across all three product areas is not essential. The team places particular emphasis on commercial drive, intellectual curiosity and long-term potential, with comprehensive training and support available.
