We are growing and looking for a motivated professional to join us in a dual-capacity role as Estimator / Project Manager.
As our Estimator / Project Manager, you will be the engine behind winning new work and delivering it successfully. You’ll own the full project lifecycle: from preparing competitive bids and estimates to managing project execution in the field, coordinating crews, and ensuring client satisfaction. This is a hands-on role that rewards initiative, organization, and technical knowledge of insulation systems.
• Attend sales calls with new and existing clients to develop business opportunities and represent Taurus Insulation professionally
• Take customer calls, address inquiries, and serve as a primary point of contact throughout the project lifecycle
• Prepare accurate cost estimates from construction drawings and conduct on-site field measurements for walk-through estimates
• Communicate regularly with field crews to coordinate project execution and resolve on-site issues in a timely manner
• Ensure client satisfaction at every stage — from bid to project closeout — by proactively managing expectations and deliverables
• Help schedule and coordinate field crews and material procurement to keep projects on track
• Manage project closeout including final documentation, punch lists, and client sign-off
• Maintain organized project records including estimates, change orders, schedules, and correspondence
• 3 years of experience in estimating and/or project management in the construction or insulation industry
• Fully bilingual in English and Spanish (spoken and written) — required
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
• Strong understanding of construction drawings, specifications, and project documentation
• Excellent organizational and communication skills
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines
• Experience in industrial insulation (mechanical, piping, equipment, or refractory)
• Proficiency with MIKE estimating software
• Familiarity with ISN, Veriforce, or contractor compliance portals
• OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 certification
