We are seeking an IT Asset Management Systems Engineer Manager to lead the modernization and optimization of our enterprise asset management program. This role is ideal for someone with a Systems Administration, Systems Engineering, Infrastructure, or IT Operations background who enjoys solving complex operational challenges through automation, process improvement, and technology integration.
You will be responsible for improving asset visibility, data accuracy, lifecycle management, and platform integrations while helping shape the future direction of our asset management strategy. This role will become the primary technical owner of Jira Assets and related asset discovery and data management tools.
Successful candidates excel at and enjoy:
- Own and improve the organization's IT asset management platform and processes.
- Serve as the technical lead for Jira Assets and Atlassian Data Manager.
- Design and implement automation to improve asset tracking, auditing, and reporting.
- Build integrations between asset management systems and other enterprise platforms.
- Improve asset data quality, governance, and lifecycle management processes.
- Experience with IT Asset Management (ITAM) or Configuration Management Database (CMDB) platforms.
- Experience with Jira, Jira Assets, Atlassian Data Manager, ServiceNow CMDB, Flexera, Lansweeper, Snow Software, or similar tools.
Your previous experience includes:
- 5 years of experience in Systems Administration, Systems Engineering, Infrastructure Engineering, IT Operations, or a related technical role.
- Strong understanding of enterprise IT infrastructure and asset lifecycle management.
- Experience with automation, scripting, or process optimization.
