Work Year: School Year (180 days)
Minimum qualifications:
- A minimum of an Associate’s Degree in Social Work, Counseling, Human Services or related field from anaccredited college or university.
- Possess significant knowledge of Taunton and surrounding resources that provide support across a broad spectrum of need, cultures and languages.
- Possess knowledge of drop-out prevention strategies.
- Ability to build positive, trusting and effective interpersonal relationships.
- Fluency in second language, preferred.
- Willingness to make home visits.
- Such alternatives to the above qualifications as the Superintendent or his designee may deem appropriate.
Job Goal: To provide outreach to students and families in need –
serving a vital role in District wrap-around services.
Salary : $40,000 - $50,000
