Responsibilities
- Stock shelves efficiently by unloading deliveries, organizing products, and ensuring accurate placement according to merchandising standards
- Operate the cash register using POS (Point of Sale) systems to process retail sales transactions accurately and swiftly
- Provide friendly customer service by answering questions and guiding shoppers through their selections
- Handle cash register operations including cash handling, balancing cash drawers, and processing returns or exchanges with professionalism
- Assist with upselling by recommending complementary products and promoting ongoing sales or promotions
- Maintain store cleanliness and organization by merchandising displays and ensuring aisles are clear of hazards
- Demonstrate excellent phone etiquette when assisting customers over the phone or taking inquiries
- Support inventory management through stock replenishment, , and monitoring stock levels to prevent shortages
- Ensure compliance with Minimum Age requirement and store policies at all time
Qualifications
- Previous environments is preferred; familiarity with stocking and cashiering is a plus
- Strong communication skills with the ability to engage customers effectively in English;
- Proficiency in POS systems, cash register operations, and basic math for retail transactions
- or leading a team is advantageous but not required; leadership skills are valued
- Knowledge of retail store product techniques, and retail store knowledge enhances performance
- Excellent phone etiquette, customer service skills, and the ability to handle cash handling responsibilities accurately
- Ability to stand for extended periods, lift heavy items safely, and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
