About the Job

As the VP of Finance, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the financial strategy, operations, and reporting to inform and support Taulia’s scalability. You will report to the CFO and lead a dynamic finance team, collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders, and contribute to Taulia's continued growth and success.

Responsibilities

Strategic Financial Planning

• Long-term strategic planning, including forecasting, budgeting, and scenario analysis
• Serving as a financial advisor to the executive team for strategic planning purposes.
• Developing appropriate tracking methods for revenue and expenses.

Business Planning and Growth Optimization:

• Collaborating with cross-functional teams to align financial goals with business objectives.
• Developing and directing the company’s analytical, financial plans, and policies.
• Developing key financial metrics to measure business and operating unit performance
• Partnering with senior leaders to ensure the company hits revenue targets.

Financial Analysis and Reporting:

• Analyzing financial data to provide insights and recommendations for business decisions.
• Preparing regular financial reports, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.
• Presenting financial performance to the executive team.

Financial Operations Oversight:

• Overseeing all aspects of accounting and accounting operations, including payables, receivables, payroll, and tax preparation.
• Ensuring compliance with regulations
• Implementing efficient financial processes and controls.
• Risk management, including identifying, assessing, and mitigating financial risks

Team Leadership:

• Managing and mentoring the finance team, fostering a collaborative and results-driven work environment.

Collaboration:

• Working closely with external partners, consultants, and financial institutions.

Skills, Knowledge and Experience required

• Proven work experience as a VP of Finance or similar role.
• In-depth knowledge of financial benchmarking, accounting, audit, and tax compliance, as well as other regulatory matters
• Adept in fiscal management principles and processes, including resource management and needs assessment.
• Possesses knowledge of US, Europe and Asia tax laws, and US GAAP and IFRS
• CPA preferred
