Taub & Bogaty PLLC is a busy, well-established boutique law firm serving clients throughout Long Island and New York City. Our practice focuses on residential and commercial real estate transactions, lender representation, banking transactions, and title clearance matters.

We are seeking a motivated, detail-oriented Associate Attorney to join our real estate practice. This is an excellent opportunity for a recently admitted attorney or recent law school graduate seeking to build a career in transactional real estate law.

We welcome applications from attorneys already admitted to practice in New York, as well as recent law school graduates who are awaiting bar examination results or admission.

The successful candidate will work directly with the firm's partners and experienced attorneys, gaining meaningful, hands-on experience in residential and commercial real estate transactions, lender representation, and title matters.

Prior real estate experience is preferred but not required. We are looking for someone who is eager to learn, takes initiative, demonstrates strong attention to detail, and is interested in developing a long-term career with our firm.

Candidates not yet admitted to practice in New York will initially work in a law clerk capacity under attorney supervision until admitted.

• Draft, review, and negotiate residential and commercial real estate purchase and sale contracts, riders, and related agreements.
• Assist in managing real estate transactions from contract through closing.
• Review title reports, surveys, and due diligence materials and assist in resolving title issues.
• Prepare closing documents, affidavits, closing statements, and other transactional documents.
• Communicate directly with clients, opposing counsel, real estate brokers, lenders, and title companies.
• Assist with lender representation, mortgage transactions, and banking-related matters.
• Conduct legal research and assist with contract interpretation and transactional legal issues.
• Attend and conduct real estate closings, as appropriate based on admission status.
• Work collaboratively with attorneys and paralegals to ensure transactions progress efficiently.

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.
• Admitted to practice law in New York OR actively pursuing admission to the New York State Bar.
• Strong legal research, writing, and analytical skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to manage multiple assignments and prioritize deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
• Willingness to learn, take initiative, and assume increasing responsibility.

Preferred, But Not Required:

• 0–3 years of legal experience.
• Experience with residential or commercial real estate transactions.
• Familiarity with real estate contracts, title reports, or closing procedures.
• Prior experience working in a law firm, title company, or transactional practice.
