Senior Financial Reporting Consultant
Location: Onsite – Las Vegas, NV (5 days/week)
Pay Rate: $85.00/hour Overtime (W-2)
Target Start Date: September 15th (six month engagement)
About the Role
Tatum by Randstad's client is seeking a Senior Financial Reporting Consultant for an immediate, high-priority engagement in Las Vegas. Reporting directly to the Director of Financial Reporting, this role is designed to provide critical supporting capacity to leadership by assisting with key consolidation processes, financial statement preparation, and core SEC compliance.

Core Scope
- Support the preparation of Form 10-Q/10-K filings, including managing disclosure checklists and detailed tie-outs.
- Assist with and execute multi-entity financial consolidations and initial drafts of financial statements.
- Strengthen the internal control environment and support the remediation of a material weakness related to segregation of duties.
- Ensure compliance with SOX 404 controls across financial reporting workflows.
Key Qualifications
- Professional Designation: Active or near CPA required; mix of Big 4 public accounting and public corporate experience preferred.
- Years of Experience: 3–5 years in technical accounting, financial reporting, or SOX compliance roles.
- Industry & Domain Knowledge: Deep experience in Ad-Tech, Mobile Gaming, Software SaaS, or multi-entity holding structures.
- Technical Accounting Focus: Expertise in ASC 606 (Revenue Recognition), ASC 450 (Contingencies/Litigation), ASC 470/480 (Debt/Equity), and ASC 740 (Tax/NOLs).
- Tools & Systems: Proficiency with Workiva, NetSuite (or large-scale ERPs), and advanced Excel financial modeling.
- SEC & SOX Expertise: Strong SEC reporting exposure and SOX familiarity are critical; direct experience with internal controls and segregation of duties (SOD) remediation.
- Environment Fit: Experience stepping into high-growth or distressed public environments needing immediate control stabilization; highly resilient in fast-moving, high-pressure setups.
- Presence: 100% onsite in Las Vegas, NV (5 days/week).
