What are the responsibilities and job description for the Controller (Interim) position at Tatum by Randstad?
Tatum is working with a client in the Healthcare Tech industry. Our client is in need of an interim controller that has a public/private mix in their background and has their CPA. The client is privately held and looking to possibly go public. The person taking on this interim role would be taking on the following Duties:
Responsibilities:
- The company is looking for the interim controller to come in to take a look at the the accounting function and identify any areas to improve/streamline and assess what needs to be done to get the accounting department ready to go through an IPO.
- This person would report to the CFO and would be ensuring policies and procedures are in place for the month end function.
Qualifications:
- Candidate taking on this project needs to have a bachelor's in accounting or finance
- CPA is required
- The candidate would need to have prior experience in public accounting. "Big 4" experience would be desired
- Prior experience with NetSuite is a plus
- Prior experience going through an IPO is desired
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work effectively with leadership is desired.
