The Regional Vice President (RVP) – Boston is accountable for leading the market as a fully owned business unit, with full responsibility for operational excellence, leadership development, and sustained financial performance across all cafés in the region. This role not only executes the model but strengthens and scales it, translating company strategy into disciplined, repeatable systems that elevate performance across People, Product, Environment, Great Service, and Cost (PPC). The RVP is a visible, field-connected leader who builds teams, raises standards, and ensures every café consistently delivers the Tatte experience, including both front-of-house hospitality and savory/café culinary execution. This role partners closely with cross-functional leaders to support growth, new café openings (NCOs), and continuous improvement.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Market Ownership
- Own Boston market as a full business unit, with accountability for performance, talent, & long-term growth
- Set and execute a market strategy aligned to Tatte’s concept essence and expansion plans
- Balance immediate performance with long-term capability building (leadership bench, systems discipline)
- Serve as the single-threaded leader accountable for region performance and outcomes
- Responsible for the successful opening of every NCO in the region.
Operational Excellence
- Accountable for consistent execution of PPC standards across all cafés
- Ensure every café delivers excellence in Product, Environment, and Great Service across all dayparts
- Protect and elevate the brand through a strong food safety and culinary quality culture
- Own regional savory execution standards in partnership with culinary leadership where applicable
System Leadership & Scale
- Ensure that company key initiatives are launched and adopted by the field team
- Responsible for the consistent execution of Tatte systems including process, policies, and procedures across all cafes.
- Diagnose managerial and structural performance gaps, develop action plans, and escalate systemic barriers to cross-functional partners
- Contribute to the ongoing evolution of Tatte’s operating model as the company scales
Leadership & Talent Development
- Build and sustain a load-bearing leadership team (DMs, GMs, Head Chefs, and District Executive Chefs)
- Maintain robust succession depth for key market roles, with ready-now and ready-later plans that reduce vacancy risk and support growth
- Coach District Managers and District Executive Chefs to elevate performance and accountability
- Personally inspect and validate top talent to ensure quality and readiness
People & Culture

Enterprise Leadership
- Act as a key voice in shaping company strategy through field insight
- Influence decisions across labor model, menu execution, technology, and guest experience
- Partner with ELT and cross-functional leaders to define and continuously raise the standard of excellence
QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE
Required:
- 10 years of multi-unit leadership experience in hospitality, retail, or food service
- 5 years leading multi-unit leaders in complex foodservice, hospitality, or retail environments, ideally including scratch kitchen or culinary-intensive operations
- Proven experience leading high-volume, multi-location operations
- Demonstrated ability to drive operational excellence and financial performance (P&L ownership)
- Track record of developing leaders and improving team performance
- Strong field leadership presence, with the ability to operate effectively in a hands-on, café-based environment
- Ability to travel regularly and maintain consistent in-market café presence
- Experience leading through change, complexity, and performance variability
- Strong communication and leadership skills, with the ability to influence across levels
Preferred:
- Experience leading a market of 25 locations in a premium fast-casual, upscale casual, or hospitality-driven brand
- Proven success in scaling operations in a growth environment, including new market entry or rapid unit expansion
- Experience leading operations that include both front-of-house hospitality and back-of-house/scratch kitchen execution
- Experience implementing and sustaining structured training or certification-based operating models
- Demonstrated success opening and stabilizing new locations at standard
- Strong experience partnering cross-functionally to solve systemic operational challenges
- Experience operating in highly disciplined, data-driven environments (KPIs, audits, dashboards)
- Familiarity with regulated markets (e.g., NYC/FWW or similar complexity)
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Hospitality, or related field (or equivalent experience)
