Tater Town is seeking a dependable, motivated Line Cook to join our kitchen team. We are looking for someone who takes pride in preparing quality food, works efficiently in a fast-paced environment, and enjoys being part of a team.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and cook menu items according to recipes and quality standards
- Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary workstation
- Follow all food safety and sanitation procedures
- Work efficiently during busy service while maintaining attention to detail
- Communicate effectively with team members to ensure smooth kitchen operations
- Assist with prep, stocking, cleaning, and closing duties
- Identify and solve problems quickly while maintaining a positive attitude
- Take an "eyes up" approach by anticipating needs, staying aware of the kitchen flow, and stepping in where needed
Qualifications
- Previous line cook or restaurant kitchen experience necessary
- Knowledge of food safety and safe food handling practices
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to consistency
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Reliable, punctual, and dependable
- Strong teamwork and communication skills
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 pounds
- Must be available to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
