About The Role
Based in Jessup MD, the Accounts Payable Analyst position is responsible for processing vendor invoices accurately and timely and communicating with vendors about invoices and payments.
What You’ll Do
- Perform complex invoice review and three-way match (PO, goods receipt, invoice).
- Review, validate, and research/resolve discrepancies involving purchase orders, goods receipts, vendor statements, freight invoices, and internal cost centers.
- Monitor aging reports, open GR/IR balances, and unmatched invoices; drive timely resolution with procurement, receiving, and warehouse teams.
- Utilize AP automation platforms to manage invoice workflows, approvals, and exceptions.
- Assist in the streamlining and automation of invoice processing.
- Dealing with vendor queries
- Reconciling monthly vendor statements
- Partner with procurement, receiving, operations, and finance teams to resolve purchasing, receiving, or invoice workflow issues.
- Prior experience with automation platforms (e.g., Stampli, Quadient/AP Essentials)
- Comply with all company policies, including the Code of Conduct and Kingspan Group Compliance Policy.
- Ensure adherence to applicable laws, regulations, and internal product compliance requirements.
- Support all activities required to meet Compliance Management System goals.
- Raise any compliance-related concerns to a supervisor, manager, Leadership Team member, or through the confidential whistleblower service.
- Associate or bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field preferred; equivalent experience considered.
- 3 years of accounts payable experience, ideally within a manufacturing or multi-location environment.
- Proven experience as an Accounts Payable Analyst or in a similar role.
- Strong understanding of three-way match, purchase order processes, and inventory-related AP
- Knowledge of accounts payable processes and procedures.
- Advanced Excel skills (VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, pivot tables, data analysis).
- Proficient in using accounting software and MS Office, especially Excel.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and record-keeping.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
- Pay range: $55,000 to $70,000 USD per year. This role is eligible for a discretionary bonus.
