Packaging Supervisor - 2nd Shift
Under the direction of the Associate Manager, the Production Supervisor is responsible for supervising productivity, safety, and motivating associates. The Supervisor must be able to comprehend the multi-faceted nature of the manufacturing process to ensure maximum quality and efficiency. They are also responsible for adhering and enforcing all the applicable Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for the department and Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMPs) that are in effect assuring the quality and quantity of product produced.

Packaging Supervisor - 2nd Shift
Under the direction of the Associate Manager, the Production Supervisor is responsible for supervising productivity, safety, and motivating associates. The Supervisor must be able to comprehend the multi-faceted nature of the manufacturing process to ensure maximum quality and efficiency. They are also responsible for adhering and enforcing all the applicable Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for the department and Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMPs) that are in effect assuring the quality and quantity of product produced.
Job Duties
- Identify issues affecting efficiencies and assist in developing solutions.
- Monitor productivity and motivate employees in production and packaging areas.
- Ensure that all paperwork is properly completed.
- Manage payroll and attendance for production and packaging employees; submit payroll in a timely manner.
- Supervise, counsel, and coach employees on a regular basis.
- Supervise to ensure Preventive Control & other SOP requirements are met, in various production area, including baking time/temp, sanitation controls, metal detector checks and UPC code verification on bag.
- Complete production plan by scheduling and assigning personnel, accomplishing work results, establishing priorities, monitoring progress, revising schedules, and reporting results on shift production summaries.
- Monitor production output according to specifications.
- Identify issues in efficiency and suggest improvements.
- Resolves personnel issues by analyzing data, investigating issues, identifying solutions, and recommending action.
- Knowledge of all essential equipment.
- Responsible for properly handling, storing, and disposing of different waste streams to protect and comply with environmental regulations.
- Responsible to provide a safe working environment and manage/report unsafe conditions.
- Responsible to ensure employee's required training has been completed for each task.
- Responsible for all applicable Company procedures and policies, including Mondelez Quality Policies.
- Responsible to ensure compliance with FDA, SQF, New York State and other regulatory requirements, to assure food safety & quality.
- Other related duties as assigned.

- Proficiency in production management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Strong leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a diverse team.

- Must be able to wear safety shoes for entire shift.
- Ability to communicate in English and Spanish and possess basic reading and writing skills to effectively understand and complete work-related documents, safety protocols, and instructions.
- Must be able to stand 7 hours (not including rest and meal periods).
- Second shift: Monday through Friday 2:30 pm - 11:00 pm. Overtime as needed.
