Position Summary:
We are looking for a skilled Teamcenter Application Developer with expertise in Siemens Teamcenter and a strong understanding of global trade compliance processes. This role supports the development and integration of Teamcenter PLM solutions with global trade and export control systems, ensuring compliance with international regulations and enhancing efficiency across the product development lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop, configure, and customize Teamcenter applications to support PLM workflows and trade compliance needs.
- Collaborate with engineering, supply chain, and compliance teams to align system functionality with business processes involving global trade.
- Integrate Teamcenter with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and global trade management platforms (e.g., SAP GTS, Oracle GTM).
- Implement features related to export classification, BOM controls, and license tracking within the Teamcenter environment.
- Maintain and enhance data models, workflows, and access controls to support compliance with regulations such as ITAR, EAR, ECCN, and customs rules.
- Develop and maintain custom modules using Teamcenter ITK, RAC, and SOA APIs.
- Troubleshoot issues, perform root cause analysis, and support end-users globally.
- Collaborate on PLM-related projects including upgrades, migrations, and security enhancements.
- Stay updated on changes in global trade regulations and recommend system updates accordingly.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or related technical field.
- 4–7 years of experience developing and supporting Teamcenter PLM solutions.
- Proficiency with Teamcenter ITK, RAC, BMIDE, SOA, and Active Workspace.
- Solid understanding of global trade concepts, such as export control classifications (ECCNs), licensing, and customs regulations.
- Experience integrating PLM with global trade systems (e.g., SAP GTS, Oracle GTM, Descartes) is highly preferred.
- Familiarity with ERP systems (SAP/Oracle), product BOMs, and engineering change management processes.
- Strong problem-solving, communication, and documentation skills.
- Ability to work effectively across global teams and time zones.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in aerospace, defense, manufacturing, or high-tech industries.
- Knowledge of compliance standards like ITAR, EAR, and DFARS.
- Familiarity with Agile and DevOps practices.
- Certifications in Siemens PLM, SAP GTS, or global trade compliance are a plus.
