Job Title: Sr. Design Engineer (Aerospace)

Location: Ogden, UT

Duration: Full Time

Qualification: B.E/B. Tech Mechanical/Aeronautical Engineering Skill-Set Experience in Product Design Relevant Experience 6-10 Years

Job Description / Responsibilities :

• Design experience in component and assembly.

• Very complex part conversion of 2D to 3D and validation

• Detail Design of products / components

• Good knowledge and Experience in 2D Drawing creation of Parts, Assemblies and Installations, Working with Multi sheet drawings and BOM Generation.

• Better understanding of production queries during build/ conversion/ integration.

• Quick support for minor changes in drawing to create Design Change Note (DCN).

• Experience in Enovia VPM and Design release process.

• Experience in working with CAD tools CATIA V5, Part Design, Assembly, Surface Design and Drafting modules.

• Knowledge in part manufacturing / machining

• Excellent planning, organizational, decision making, problem solving, interpersonal skills to drive tasks to completion.

• Excellent written, and verbal communication skills to enable discussions with internal and external stakeholders and presentation of complex issues and solutions.

• Must have good knowledge of managing projects and people, both locally and remotely, on day-to-day basis, with demonstration of 'Lead by example' behaviour.

• Collaborate with business development team to identify new business opportunities, develop a good understanding of customers’ technical requirements and develop proactive propositions on technical solutions leveraging our capabilities.

• Build and maintain collaborative relationships with customers and ensure customer needs are identified and addressed timely utilizing the best resources of the company.

• Capable of working in an environment in which demands and priorities change based on customer requests.

Preferred Skills & Knowledge: Product design, CATIA V5, Enovia
