Broad outline of the Role
- Responsible for implementation of HR project, processes, engagement and talent management programs in the region. This is an operational role, responsible for delivering results that have direct impact on the achievement of results within the business.
- 1-3 years of experience in HR
- Understanding of financial process and systems
- Adept at using HR technologies and tools for data analytics and solutioning.
- Demonstrated analytical thinking, problem solving, and decision-making skills.
- Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Ensure Line Managers understand the HR framework in the local market
- e. g. , HR policies and procedures, tools, legal requirements
- and receive advice, coaching, training (where needed)
- Implement policies, procedures or processes or new documents when requested by Corporate HR and organize and facilitate trainings if needed.
- Manage Benefits and Healthcare (and pension) schemes.
- Participate and provide information for regional audits.
- Manage regional level employee relations.
- Initiate and manage HR projects and initiatives, monitor progress, and make course corrections if required. Track effectiveness of initiatives undertaken.
- Review and study metrics received on various factors like employee engagement, attrition, headcounts, vendor costs, investments required in employees etc.
- Review or negotiate terms and conditions for contracts in partnership with Legal department and Compensations and Benefits.
- Drive adherence to employee related statutory compliances for termination process.
- Plan and drive implementation of employee engagement initiatives based on overall objective; Guide the development of calendar; Seek approval and finalize initiatives with the senior management; Track effectiveness of initiatives undertaken.
- Drive completion of joining formalities for all new joiners; Coordinate with relevant teams to ensure compliance with norms; Conduct onboarding orientation (country or region or corporate); Liaise with IT and local facilities for necessary infrastructure; Resolve employee concerns or issues post handoff; Track metrics around new joiners.
