Team Member – Pizza Station
Overview
Zio Al’s Pizza & Pasta is hiring Team Members to focus on our Pizza Station! Joining our team is ideal for individuals who enjoy working in a fast-paced environment, take pride in delivering high-quality food, and are passionate about the food industry. Whether you have previous pizza experience or are a dependable team player eager to learn a new skill, we want to hear from you. We offer complete training on all of our recipes, dough stretching techniques, and oven operations—all you need to bring is a strong commitment to the team, and we will train and schedule you for our pizza shifts.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and cook pizzas according to established Zio Al’s recipes and quality standards
- Stretch pizza dough, assemble toppings, and operate pizza ovens efficiently
- Monitor food quality to ensure every pizza is cooked to perfection
- Prepare, portion, and restock ingredients and toppings throughout shifts
- Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary work area at all times
- Follow all food safety and sanitation guidelines
- Work collaboratively with kitchen team members to ensure fast and accurate service
- Assist with inventory management and restocking supplies as needed
Qualifications
- Prior pizza cook or food service experience is a plus, but not required (full training provided)
- Basic team member commitment, reliability, and strong work ethic
- Eagerness to learn pizza preparation techniques and oven management
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple orders simultaneously
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow recipes accurately
- Ability to speak and understand basic English
- Flexibility to work during peak hours, including weekends and holidays
