What are the responsibilities and job description for the Bakery Assistant position at Tastee Creations Bakery?
We are a growing bakery based in NC Rocky Mount seeking a motivated individual to join our team. As a team member, you will prepare, assist the lead baker, and perform other duties as needed. Our ideal candidate is someone who is eager to learn new skills and is teachable.
Duties and Responsibilities but not limited to:
- Preparation of baked goods
- Stocking goods
- Sorting ingredients
- Cleaning kitchen areas
- Support the Lead Baker
Requirements and Qualifications:
- A restaurant and/or bakery experience is a plus but not a must.
- Have reliable transportation
- Can work in a fast-paced environment
- Able to lift at least 50lbs on a consistent basis
- Strong Math skills are a plus
- Knowledge of the metric system is a plus
There is room for advancement and growth with the potential to join a program that tracks becoming a full-time Baker.
Job Type: Full-time
