Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Server to join our dynamic team in a fast-paced dining environment. As a Server, you will be responsible for creating memorable dining experiences for our guests while efficiently managing food and beverage orders.
Responsibilities
- Greet and welcome guests in a friendly and professional manner
- Take accurate food and beverage orders using Aloha POS or Micros POS systems
- Provide detailed menu information, including daily specials and promotions
- Upsell menu items to enhance guest experience and increase sales
- Ensure timely delivery of food and beverages to tables
- Monitor guest satisfaction throughout their dining experience, addressing any concerns promptly
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining area, including bussing tables as needed
- Adhere to all food safety and sanitation guidelines during food handling and preparation
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure efficient service flow
- Assist with cashiering duties, including cash handling and basic math for transactions
Experience
- Previous experience in food service or restaurant roles is preferred, particularly in fine dining or nightclub settings
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha or Micros is a plus
- Strong time management skills to handle multiple tables effectively
- Excellent customer service skills with a focus on guest relations
- Basic math skills for accurate order processing and cash handling
- Culinary experience or knowledge of food preparation is advantageous
- Understanding of sanitation practices and food safety regulations
