Part-Time Seasonal Production Assistant

Taste of Heaven Gourmet Popcorn Shoppe is looking for a dependable, hardworking Part-Time Seasonal Production Assistant to join our team during our busiest time of year!

The Production Assistant will work closely with the Production Manager to help keep our popcorn production running efficiently and ensure that our products meet Taste of Heaven's quality standards. This is a hands-on position that is a great fit for someone who enjoys working with their hands, staying active, and being part of a team.

Primary Responsibilities

• Assist the Production Manager with daily production tasks
• Operate the caramel popcorn machine and assist with caramel production
• Flavor and season popcorn according to established recipes and quality standards
• Prepare popcorn for packaging and assist with packaging as needed
• Help with measuring ingredients and preparing batches
• Maintain a clean and organized production area
• Follow food safety, sanitation, and workplace safety procedures
• Assist with loading, moving, and organizing product and supplies
• Help with other production tasks as needed to meet daily production goals
• Work efficiently while maintaining attention to detail and product quality

Qualifications

• Reliable and dependable
• Able to work well as part of a team
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced production environment
• Able to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks
• Able to lift and move boxes and supplies as needed
• Strong attention to detail
• Willingness to learn and follow established recipes and procedures
• Previous food production or commercial kitchen experience is helpful, but not required

Schedule

This is a part-time seasonal position, with increased hours available during our busy fall and Christmas production season.

Seasonal position: Primarily October through December
