What you’ll do
- Prepare and cook a variety of hibachi dishes while ensuring exceptional presentation and flavor.
- Engage guests with entertaining cooking demonstrations, showcasing your skills and knowledge of Japanese cuisine.
- Oversee kitchen operations during service, ensuring food safety standards are met and maintained.
- Manage inventory control, including ordering supplies and maintaining stock levels for efficient kitchen operations.
- Collaborate with team members to create innovative menu items that excite our guests.
- Train and supervise junior kitchen staff, fostering a positive team environment focused on excellence.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization in the kitchen, adhering to health regulations and safety guidelines.
- Assist in catering events and special functions, delivering outstanding service that reflects our commitment to quality.
Basic qualifications
- Proven experience in food preparation and cooking within a restaurant or fine dining setting.
