Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and energetic Barback to join our dynamic team in a fast-paced hospitality environment. The Barback plays a crucial role in supporting bartenders by ensuring that the bar is well-stocked, clean, and organized. Duties
- Assist bartenders with drink preparation and service during busy shifts.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including washing glassware and utensils.
- Stock and replenish supplies such as liquor, mixers, garnishes, and ice as needed.
- Help with food preparation tasks when required, ensuring timely service for guests.
- Operate the Aloha POS system for order entry and tracking inventory levels.
- Communicate effectively with team members to ensure smooth operations during service.
- Assist in setting up for events such as banquets or catering functions as needed.
- Provide exceptional hospitality to guests, ensuring their needs are met promptly.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in a restaurant or nightclub setting is preferred but not required.
- Familiarity with bartending practices and cocktail preparation is a plus.
- Strong communication skills to interact effectively with team members and guests.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Knowledge of cash register operations and basic math skills for handling transactions.
