Field Safety Specialist
Location: San Marcos, TX (Up to 75% Travel Required)
Salary: $70,000 – $90,000 (Exempt)

What You'll Do:
- Implement Tasman’s comprehensive Health and Safety Program across projects.
- Collaborate with Project Managers and leadership to pre-plan safety on job sites.
- Prepare and review Health and Safety Plans (HASPs) and Safe Work Plans.
- Conduct field observations, safety audits, and ensure compliance on multiple projects.
- Deliver and coordinate safety training for field staff.
- Support incident investigations and provide expert guidance.
- Champion a culture of safety, compliance, and continuous improvement.
- Track evolving federal and state occupational safety regulations.
- Lead quarterly safety meetings, safety stand-downs, and regular safety breaks.
Who You Are:
- Bilingual: Fluent in English and Spanish (Required)
- Experienced: 5–7 years of health and safety field experience, ideally in construction.
- Communicator: Strong written and oral communication skills.
- Tech-Savvy: Comfortable with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Licensed: Valid driver’s license with the ability to travel extensively (up to 75%).
- Committed to Excellence: You don't compromise when it comes to safety.
Bonus Points:
- Bachelor’s degree in Safety, Environmental Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Prior experience working in construction or engineering environments.
Work Environment: This role demands flexibility — you’ll be working both outdoors on project sites and indoors in an office setting. Physical activity like lifting up to 25 pounds occasionally is required.
Work Hours: Full-time, Monday–Friday (8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.). Schedules may vary based on project needs.
