Reporting to the Senior Manager, Accounting, you will support our month-end close process by performing critical tasks and analyses, contributing to our overall objective of providing timely and accurate financial results.You will also be responsible for assisting in developing scalable and sustainable processes as our business grows, and you will work cross-functionally in a fast paced environment where creative problem solving is highly valued. You are a highly motivated, technically proficient person, with a strong sense of ownership and business ethics to deliver quality work on a daily basis. This is a highly visible role with the opportunity to work cross-functionally with an experienced and dynamic leadership team.Responsibilities:Performing month end close activities, including journal entry preparation, account reconciliations, and financial reporting tasksPerform treasury accounting and FX accountingPerform payroll accounting and reconciliationsResponsible for four way reconciliation of order to cash transactions between the subledger, payment channel, bank, and GLConduct month end variance analyses and presentation to stakeholdersResponsible for developing financial statements and related notesResponsible for project managing financial auditsCollaborate cross functionally to ensure expenses are captured appropriatelyProactively identify issues and assist in optimizing systems and automation of accounting processesAid in the development and implementation of new policies and proceduresResearch and document issues, monitor internal controlsContribute to special projects as needed; completing deliverables on timeQualifications:Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Accounting or Finance4 years of progressive experience; a combination of public accounting and industry experience requiredExperience with NetSuite, Tipalti, and Ramp preferredAdvanced Microsoft Excel skills and experience reconciling large sets of dataSelf-starter who can creatively solve problemsEffective writing, presentation and informal communication skillsStrong interpersonal and collaboration skillsPassionate and knowledgeable about marketplaces Compensation & Benefits: At Taskrabbit, our approach to compensation is designed to be competitive, transparent, and equitable. Total compensation consists of base pay bonus benefits perks.The base pay range for this position is $88,000 - $120,000. This range is representative of base pay only, and does not include any other total cash compensation amounts, such as company bonus or benefits.
