EDI Specialist
Positional Summary:
An EDI Specialist is responsible for developing, implementing, and maintaining Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) systems between Company’s Sage X3 and 3rd party partners. Mapping data, troubleshooting issues, and collaborating with internal teams and external partners to guarantee accurate and compliant data transfer according to industry standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and implement EDI systems, including mapping documents, testing systems, and establishing communication with trading partners.
Setting up mailboxes and security and configuring EDI tools.
Work with internal teams and external partners to troubleshoot issues and ensure data accuracy.
Work directly with external partners on requirements, testing, and go-live.

· Must be able to multitask
· Must have great communication skills with great attention to detail
· Must have an understanding of EDI documents and experience in working with EDI systems (testing and document specs, segments and elements)
· Must be able to troubleshoot, gather data and explain issues so they can be resolved in a timely manner
· Provide technical support to external partners and internal teams
· Gather and analyze EDI requirements
· Support continuous improvement in the EDI domain to minimize errors and manual processing
· Special projects and other duties as required.
Qualifications and skills:
- Bachelor’s Degree - Preferably in Computer Science, Information Technology or Software Engineering with minimum 2 years experience.
- Preferred Experience Includes: 5 years of experience in EDI implementation, support, or administration, Hands-on experience with EDI platforms (Magma), Strong understanding of EDI standards such as ANSI X12, EDIFACT, and XML, Proficiency in EDI mapping, transaction sets, and troubleshooting EDI errors.
- Experience working with trading partners and setting up new EDI connections
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to diagnose and resolve data integration issues
- Familiarity with AS2, FTP, SFTP, API-based integrations preferred
- Knowledge or familiarity with SQL, scripting, or automation for data processing
- Knowledge of data integrity and security best practices.
- Knowledge of agile concepts and planning
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $90,000.00 - $110,000.00 per year
