About the Role

As a Shipping and Receiving Specialist you’ll play a key role in safely and efficiently moving furniture and products throughout the warehouse. You’ll operate lift trucks, forklifts, and other industrial equipment to handle materials, load and unload trucks, and ensure inventory accuracy. This position is perfect for individuals who take pride in maintaining a clean, organized, and safety-driven environment.

What You’ll Do

• Perform pre-operation safety inspections on all powered industrial vehicles.
• Safely operate forklifts, lift trucks, and other equipment in compliance with company and OSHA standards.
• Use scanning systems to locate, move, and track inventory accurately.
• Pick, stage, and prepare orders for shipment using the Scan–Move–Scan process.
• Safely lift, move, and position products using proper material handling procedures.
• Communicate issues such as product damage, backorders, or scanning errors to your supervisor.
• Conduct trailer audits to verify trailer condition, cleanliness, and load accuracy before shipping.
• Maintain consistent productivity and performance standards.
• Follow all safety rules, standard operating procedures, and company guidelines.
• Contribute to a positive, team-oriented work environment by demonstrating core values and professionalism.
