What are the responsibilities and job description for the Software Engineer (U.S. Citizen, TS/SCI) position at Task Force Talent?
Task Force Talent is recruiting software engineers at all levels, from junior to lead, for a government contractor client. Openings are in Falls Church, Virginia.
Salary range: $185K to $230K, depending on experience level.
Full-time, hybrid: remote work combined with on-site work at customer locations.
U.S. citizens with an active TS/SCI only. An active polygraph is not required, but applicants must be willing to take a counterintelligence (CI) polygraph. We cannot sponsor clearances or visas.

The work:
- Design, build, and test full stack, backend, and front-end applications for mission systems.
- Write test automation and support continuous integration and deployment.
- Work on systems software and data processing services that run in cloud and on-premises environments.

Qualifications:
- Active TS/SCI.
- Experience in one or more of Python, Java, Go, C/C , JavaScript, or TypeScript.
- Experience with front-end frameworks such as React or Angular is useful for some roles.
- Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, AWS, and CI/CD pipelines is a plus.
- A computer science degree, or equivalent professional experience.
- Willingness to take a counterintelligence (CI) polygraph.
