Job Description

TASC Services LLC is a premier commercial cleaning service based in Milwaukee, WI, dedicated to providing superior cleaning solutions for commercial buildings, schools, and other facilities in the Greater Milwaukee Area. We are seeking a reliable and detail oriented 1st Shift Custodian to join our team and support our Slinger account. This role involves maintaining the cleanliness and orderliness of school buildings, contributing to a positive and hygienic space for students, staff, and visitors. Shift Details:

• Hours: 8am-4pm (full-time) with a 30-minute paid lunch break.
• Monday to Friday, year-round position (approximately 260 days per year).
• Occasional weekend work for extra hours!

Responsibilities

• Clean and sanitize rooms, hallways, lobbies, lounges, restrooms, elevators, stairways, locker rooms, fieldhouses, and other building areas using proper procedures and equipment.
• Assist with the school day to ensure things run smoothly
• Clean up around lunch in the cafeteria to ensure every students gets to eat in a clean environment
• Set up and clean up after co-curricular events, meetings, and activities.
• Perform daily tasks such as dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and disinfecting high-touch surfaces with hospital-grade cleaners and electrostatic spraying technology.tascwi.com
• Empty trash and recycling, restock supplies, and maintain inventory of cleaning materials.
• Report any maintenance issues, safety hazards, or supply needs to the supervisor.
• Follow all safety protocols and company policies to ensure a secure environment.

Requirements

• Previous experience in custodial, janitorial, or commercial cleaning preferred but not required – we provide training!
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Physical stamina to stand, walk, lift up to 50 lbs, and perform repetitive tasks.
• Reliable transportation to and from the Slinger, WI location.
• Must pass a background check (required for school district positions).
• Attention to detail and a commitment to high standards of cleanliness.
• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Ability to perform industrial cleaning tasks safely and efficiently.
• Excellent attention to detail with a commitment to high-quality work.
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage time effectively.
