What are the responsibilities and job description for the Community Skills Trainer position at TASC, Inc.?
- Accurately record hours worked daily in the online timekeeping system.
- Complete and submit all required paperwork on time (e.g., service notes, incident/accident reports, transportation logs, receipts).
- Be knowledgeable and prepared to handle medical and household emergencies.
- Follow individual health care plans and monitor medication use.
- Report any significant health or behavioral changes to the supervisor.
- Assist with personal care (bathing, toileting, grooming, hygiene, dressing).
- Support individuals with daily living tasks such as cooking, cleaning, laundry, shopping, exercise, and transportation (including medical appointments).
- Provide support through verbal, gestural, modeling, and physical assistance as needed.
- Read and follow individual program plans.
- Help individuals work toward personal goals and document progress.
- Encourage participation in home and community activities that reflect personal interests and cultural preferences.
- Stay informed about each individual’s history, needs, rights, and supervision requirements.
