Key Responsibilities:
You will manage account reconciliations, ensuring all customer payments are recorded accurately and on time. A key part of the role involves promptly addressing customer inquiries about billing and account status. You will investigate and resolve billing discrepancies, escalate issues as needed, and monitor incoming payments to maintain healthy cash flow. Keeping detailed records of transactions, adjustments, and communications is essential. You’ll also generate monthly reports on receivables, collections, and aging, ensure invoicing accuracy in line with company policies and contracts, and prepare and distribute timely invoices while maintaining full compliance with financial regulations.
Qualifications:
A high school diploma or GED is required; an associate or bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or a related field is preferred. Candidates should have at least two years of experience in accounts receivable, billing, or a related area, with a strong understanding of general ledger accounting and reconciliations. Exceptional attention to detail and strong organizational skills are critical. Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and accounting software such as QuickBooks, SAP, or similar is necessary; experience with Epicor is a plus. Strong communication skills and the ability to multitask and collaborate within a team environment are also essential.
