Job Title: Business Development Manager

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute sales strategies to meet or exceed company sales and profit objectives.
  • Identify, contact, and negotiate with potential and existing customers to generate new business opportunities.
  • Prepare quotations and proposals.
  • Monitor market trends and competitor activities to identify opportunities and threats.
  • Coordinate with internal departments to ensure accurate and timely delivery of customer quotes and orders.
  • Manage and resolve customer issues and complaints professionally and efficiently.
  • Attend trade shows, conventions, and professional events as directed to promote company products and services.
  • Provide performance coaching and leadership to assigned team members and ensure departmental alignment with company goals.
  • Prepare and submit required sales reports and forecasts in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Meet or exceed all customer expectations.


Qualifications

Education:

  • Required: High school diploma or equivalent
  • Preferred: Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Technology, or a related field

 

Experience:

  • Requires a minimum of 5 years of sales experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment (preferably in the heat exchanger industry)
  • Proven success in business development and customer relationship management

  • Strong leadership and organizational skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication abilities
  • Ability to interpret technical information and industry trends
  • Proficiency in preparing and analyzing sales reports and proposals
  • Strong problem-solving, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
  • Assertive personality in a highly competitive industry
  • Ability to perform business and technical math calculations accurately
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and as part of a team

Other Requirements:

  • Valid driver’s license and ability to travel to customer sites as needed
  • Ability to lift up to 25 lbs. and work in both office and field environments; including but not limited to having full range of body movements, precise command of all five senses, and ability to work long hours if needed.
