Job Title: Business Development Manager

Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute sales strategies to meet or exceed company sales and profit objectives.
- Identify, contact, and negotiate with potential and existing customers to generate new business opportunities.
- Prepare quotations and proposals.
- Monitor market trends and competitor activities to identify opportunities and threats.
- Coordinate with internal departments to ensure accurate and timely delivery of customer quotes and orders.
- Manage and resolve customer issues and complaints professionally and efficiently.
- Attend trade shows, conventions, and professional events as directed to promote company products and services.
- Provide performance coaching and leadership to assigned team members and ensure departmental alignment with company goals.
- Prepare and submit required sales reports and forecasts in a timely and accurate manner.
- Meet or exceed all customer expectations.
Qualifications
Education:
- Required: High school diploma or equivalent
- Preferred: Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Technology, or a related field
Experience:
- Requires a minimum of 5 years of sales experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment (preferably in the heat exchanger industry)
- Proven success in business development and customer relationship management
Skills & Abilities:
- Strong leadership and organizational skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication abilities
- Ability to interpret technical information and industry trends
- Proficiency in preparing and analyzing sales reports and proposals
- Strong problem-solving, negotiation, and interpersonal skills

Other Requirements:
- Valid driver’s license and ability to travel to customer sites as needed
- Ability to lift up to 25 lbs. and work in both office and field environments; including but not limited to having full range of body movements, precise command of all five senses, and ability to work long hours if needed.
