2ND SHIFT/EVENING POSITION
The Quality Control Technician is responsible for ensuring that our customer specifications and protocols are adhered to. The QC Technician partners with fabrication, weld and paint departments to ensure that we are producing and delivering quality products on time, every time.
- Responsible to test and report in-process/final quality control results and transfer data to control charts
- Inspect and report on paint thickness, quality, and visibility
- Ensure that product not meeting specification is quarantined and placed on hold electronically
- Daily equipment calibration
- Prepare work instructions for projects as needed
- Participate in corrective action investigation teams
- Perform setup/machine validation inspections
- Perform disposition of product that does not meet specifications
- Provide input and ideas for continuous improvement projects
- Good communication skills
- Performs random checks of finished products to determine that they function according to the standards set by the design team.
- Work with assigned department teams on developing corrective actions
- Assist with ISO Audits
- Any additional duties as assigned by the Quality Manager

· Detail Orientated and Quality focused
· Prefer ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings
· Ability to prepare computerized QC reports
· Basic Microsoft Word and Excel knowledge
· High School or GED
· At least 1 year of industrial manufacturing quality experience
· Understanding of Quality standards.
· Powder Coating experience would be an asset
· Knowledge of paint line test procedures. Holiday Testing, Chemical Titration of wash station, adhesion test, DFT Testing would be beneficial
· Visual defect analysis
· Ability to work in a not climate-controlled environment
· Ability to adhere to PPE requirements (hard hat, safety glasses, steel-toed shoes, hearing protection, uniforms, gloves, masks, etc.)
· Must be able to lift, push, pull and carry up to 50 pounds individually, team lifting/mechanical techniques for any work processes that exceed 51 pounds
· Must be able to work in a noisy work environment (hearing protection available)
· Must be able to work in a dusty work environment (masks available)
· Must be able to work up to 12 hour shifts as needed
· Must be able to work standing and walking up to 12 hours in a single shift
· Normal work schedule is 10 hour shifts, 4 days per week with daily and weekly overtime as needed due to business needs
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $16.50 - $18.50 per hour
