Forklift Operator-Shipping/Packaging Associate

The shipping and packaging associate will be responsible for packaging and loading all materials needed to field erect custom tanks.

· Validating inbound parts to ID tags and ship list manifests

· Picturing of parts after validation

· Signing off parts shipment lists after validation

· Safely and efficiently packing parts into crates, in bundles and/or on pallets

· Clearly marking and labeling all packages with work orders and location information

· Stagging completed parts in appropriate areas, preparing for shipment

· Assist with load out manifest sheets and loading spotters

· Follow all shipping procedures as well as TBT safety protocols

· Position is 50% outdoors and 50% indoors

· Other duties as assigned

· Previous shipping/receiving work history required

· Previous forklift and other industrial powered equipment work history required

· Problem Solving/ Analysis

· Experience in working with multiple projects with deadlines

· Organized, previous experience with 5S preferred

· Ability to write, speak, and understand English

· Ability to read bill of ladings, pick lists, etc.

· Ability to work overtime as needed to include additional hours per day or additional days per work week

· Ability to work in a not climate controlled environment

· Must comply with Personal Protective Equipment guidelines to include but not limited to hardhat, steel toed shoes, uniform, gloves, safety glasses, masks (as required), etc.

· Must be able to lift, push, pull and carry up to 50 pounds individually, team lifting/mechanical techniques for any work processes that exceed 51 pounds

· Must be able to work in a noisy work environment (hearing protection available)

· Must be able to work in a dusty work environment (masks available)
