Collections Specialist - I

We are looking for an A/R Specialist to join our team. The qualified individual must possess strong/outstanding communication skills and must be proficient in Microsoft Office, Word, Excel, and Outlook. We are seeking for a highly self-motivated individual who can work independently and under pressure. This position is permanent and has great opportunity for advancement. Some of the responsibilities for the position may be but are not limited to: A/R (collections), screening phone calls, filling, invoicing, data entry, monitoring credits and debits for accounts, posting of payments for customers, verifying payments or deposits, monitoring unpaid invoices, and contacting customers who are late on payments and general organization of the office. Must be able to quickly resolve issues that might come up with customers or within the company. They also work with supervisors and other clerks to do their job.

Relevant education such as accounting courses or a bookkeeping certification is helpful but not always necessary. Need to be able to analyze information and resolve issues, as well as have a strong attention to detail, communication skills, data entry skills, and math skills.

A high school diploma is a minimum requirement for this position, and college credits in mathematics and business-related subjects are highly beneficial. Accounts receivable specialists must have strong communication skills to work well with customers and other employees, and they must also be able to multi-task and manage their time well for success. Microsoft Office proficiency is also required to use Excel and Word.

· Locate and notify customers of delinquent accounts by mail, email, or telephone.

· Monitor overdue accounts, receive payments, and post amounts paid to customer accounts.

Pay: $45,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year
