Essential Duties And Responsibilities
Tarrant County will conduct background checks on new hires that will include a criminal background check related to convictions and deferred adjudication in the past seven years and may include credit reports, motor vehicle records, employment records and educational attainment. A conviction or deferred adjudication is not an automatic bar to employment. Each case is considered individually.

While performing the duties of this position, the incumbent is regularly required to sit, walk, climb, stoop, lift, push and pull.

Essential Duties And Responsibilities
- Coordinates and direct crews and equipment to complete daily task assignments. Makes adjustments to meet daily goals and maintain quality.
- Coordinates delivery of needed materials for project.
- Input project data (labor, equipment usage, materials used) into project tracking software (Cartagraph).
- Coordinates utility locates with utility locating services.
- Coordinates project activities with City personnel.
- Trains employees on equipment and construction methods.
- Conducts daily safety meetings with Precinct crews and City personnel.
- Associate’s degree three (3) full-time years of related working experience (including concepts, practices and procedures in the field of road construction and maintenance) -OR-
- High School Diploma or GED five (5) full-time years of related working experience (including concepts, practices and procedures in the field of road construction and maintenance)
- Class A CDL upon hire with tanker endorsement within 30 days of hire.
