- Provides home visits for women and families in the NFP Program.
- Supports the guidelines and standards of the NFP Program and Public Health.
- Promotes awareness of NFP throughout Tarrant County.
- Develops and maintains community relations to support NFP referrals.
- Completes all required NFP training and continuing education.
- Assesses physical, emotional, social, and environmental needs of women and their families as they relate to the NFP guidelines.
- Consults and collaborates with other professionals involved in providing services to women and their families.
- Maintains a caseload of 25 active clients and fulfills reporting responsibilities.
- Performs all other related duties involved in the operation of the Public Health Department as assigned or required.

- Ability to make professional nursing decisions and operate autonomously under the NFP guidelines.
- Flexible work availability is needed to facilitate home visits.
- Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing (BSN) with two (2) years related experience OR
- An Associate’s degree in Nursing or equivalent and four (4) years of related experience.
- Current Texas or multistate compact (including Texas) RN license required. Texas RN license required within ninety (90) days of hire.
- Must possess a valid driver license, with good driving record.

Exposure to active infectious diseases and body fluids, possible needle sticks, and restraining of children.
Salary : $2,557 - $3,069
