Essential Duties And Responsibilities

Essential Duties And Responsibilities
- Acts as direct supervision of specialized road crew.
- Operates specialized heavy equipment.
- Works with citizens, vendors and city inspectors.
- Trains fellow employees in the operation of heavy equipment.
- Ensures safety of worksite for operators and the traveling public.
- Performs all other related duties as assigned.
- High school diploma, GED or equivalent ANDfour (4) full-time years of related experience ~OR~
- Eight (8) full-time years of related experience may substitute for a high school diploma/GED.
- A Class A CDL is required upon hire, and a tanker endorsement is required within thirty (30) days of hire.
- Must have the ability to lead a construction crew, thorough knowledge of road construction and specialized operations.
- Must have the ability to organize, plan, and make decisions.
