Essential Duties And Responsibilities

TO APPLY, must have Four (4) full-time years of work experience in health administration, public administration, public health, or other related field including experience administering contracts and/or grants.

Experience managing complex projects from inception to completion.
Experience serving in a lead or supervisory capacity.

Essential Duties And Responsibilities
- Coordinates and oversees the Tarrant County response to Ending the HIV Epidemic. Supervises the Tarrant County Public Health Ending the HIV Epidemic team.
- Collaborates with external government and non-profit agencies to accomplish project deliverables including overseeing a leadership team.
- Evaluates complex, interagency progress to ensure that project goals are achieved and timelines are followed.
- Develops corrective action plans as necessary.
- Identifies and recommends operational and administrative improvements impacting contracts, office operations, and service delivery for a network of providers and 6,000 people living with HIV in Tarrant County.
- Conducts grants management responsibilities including grant writing, workplan development, oversight of subrecipients and contractors, reporting, and other aspects of grants management.
- Oversees development of requests for proposals for procured services, leads bidders’ conferences, coordinates an objective evaluation process, and negotiates detailed contracts and proposals.
- Ensures accurate completion of reports published by the Ending the HIV Epidemic program. Ensures that quality management review assessments and compliance of sub-recipients are submitted to funders.
- Speaks before community groups and other organizations to create awareness and promote program services.
- Provides direct supervision and oversight to staff.
- Develops diverse community involvement and recruits stakeholders and strategic partners to ensure representation of both HIV prevention and care providers as well as non-traditional stakeholders. Ensures alignment and coordination of activities within each plan via attending and participating in these groups.
- Attends training to develop and maintain relevant knowledge and skills.
- Performs all other related duties as required.
