What You'll Do
- Perform structural welding in 2G, 3G, and 4G positions using FCAW (Flux Core) and SMAW (Stick) processes
- Execute fit-up, tacking, and welding of structural connections per project specifications and applicable codes
- Read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and weld procedure specifications (WPS)
- Inspect welds for conformance to specification; maintain required documentation
- Coordinate with foremen, ironworkers, and other trades on site
- Follow all site safety protocols, OSHA standards, and company safety policies at all times
- Qualified or able to qualify in 2G, 3G, and 4G positions — FCAW (Flux Core) and SMAW (Stick) required
- 3 years of structural welding experience in industrial or heavy construction environments
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and weld procedure specifications
- OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 certification preferred; site safety orientation required
- Valid government-issued photo ID and reliable transportation to the Greenville, MS job site
- Must pass pre-employment drug screening — drug-free workplace
- Current weld certifications in 2G, 3G, and/or 4G — FCAW and SMAW
- AWS Certified Welder (CW) credential
- Prior experience on power, industrial, or energy construction projects
- Mississippi or Gulf South regional field experience a plus
- Competitive hourly wages commensurate with experience and weld certifications
- Per diem available for our skilled workers

- Project-based contract with potential for extended assignment based on performance
