Description
Perform installation of new tarp systems on to trailers, dump trucks, etc. for the transportation industry
Responsibilities :
- Operate scissor lift
- Operate various hand tools – electrical and pneumatic
- Pull parts from inventory
- Read and interpret process documentation such as drawings and diagrams
- Measure and calculate for material usage
- Disassemble and repair damaged tarps
- Install new and/or repaired tarps and associated systems
- Work safely – Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work area
- Complete paperwork such as work orders, forms and checklists as needed
- Perform other duties as requested
Qualifications :
- MUST BE ABLE TO READ TAPE MEASURE
- MUST BE ABLE TO PASS DRUG SCREEN
- High school diploma or G.E.D.
- 0 – 2 years experience in a factory or shop environment
- Ability to comprehend and follow instructions
- Excellent hand eye coordination
- Basic knowledge of hand and power tool usage
- Good written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work with others in a team oriented environment
- General mechanical aptitude
- Able to lift up to 50 lbs
- Able to work on hands and knees
- Able to work overtime as needed
