Job Description
Assists Campus Operations Mail Services in all areas of university mail service including but not limited to transporting, sorting, and posting of incoming mail, cash handling, and metering of outgoing mail. Transports mail from multiple Tarleton campuses including Stephenville, Fort Worth, and Waco. Serves as a Campus Security Authority (CSA).
This is a part-time temporary/casual position up to 19 hours per week.
Responsibilities
The target base hourly compensation is $10.09 and may be negotiable based on funding availability and candidate experience/skillset in relation to the minimum requirements of this position.
All positions are security-sensitive. Applicants are subject to a criminal history investigation, and employment is contingent upon the institution’s verification of credentials and/or other information required by the institution’s procedures, including the completion of the criminal history check.

Responsibilities
- Assists with collecting, sorting, and physically distributing mail.
- Assists with the metering of outgoing mail.
- Provides exemplary customer service to students, faculty, staff, and the general public through the mail services counter.
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Self-starter, proactive, and able to work under general supervision.
- Ability to work constructively and cooperatively with people from diverse educational backgrounds, disciplines, and professions.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to be an accountable, responsible, and dependable team member.
- May require heavy lifting.
