Position Summary

We are seeking an experienced and driven General Manager to lead our team at Tarla Mediterranean Bar Grill, located in the heart of Napa Valley. This pivotal leadership role oversees all aspects of daily operations while ensuring that every guest enjoys an exceptional dining experience. The General Manager will be responsible for driving team performance, maintaining operational excellence, and upholding our commitment to quality, hospitality, and sustainability.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and oversee all daily restaurant operations to deliver outstanding guest experiences.
• Recruit, train, mentor, and evaluate staff to build a high-performing team.
• Manage scheduling, labor costs, and performance standards across FOH and BOH.
• Monitor financial performance, including budgeting, forecasting, and cost control.
• Maintain inventory, ordering, and food safety protocols.
• Partner with the Executive Chef to ensure menu consistency and quality.
• Develop and implement strategies to increase customer satisfaction and community engagement.
• Foster a positive, professional, and collaborative work environment.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and company policies.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a General Manager or in a senior restaurant leadership role.
• Strong leadership and communication skills with the ability to inspire and motivate teams.
• Extensive wine knowledge and understanding of food and beverage pairings.
• Demonstrated ability to manage budgets, inventory, and operational costs.
• Knowledge of food safety standards and regulatory compliance.
• Exceptional customer service skills with a passion for hospitality.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment with strong attention to detail.
