Operations Support Analyst Responsibilities:
As Operations Support Analyst for Tarian, you will conduct the following responsibilities upholding Tarian’s commitment to safety and security while supporting the values and culture of the client and community. The Operations Support Analyst in the Tarian Operations Center manages emergency and non-emergency calls, dispatches security personnel, and serves as a key liaison for field staff and leadership. This position is the central point of contact for enterprise operations and supports field teams in various operational tasks.
Key Responsibilities:
- First Point of Contact: Serve as the primary contact for Field Officers and staff seeking support related to job applications, incident management, or general operational queries.
- Incident Resolution: Handle and resolve on-the-clock incident reports by gathering information, providing initial guidance, and escalating issues to the appropriate departments when necessary.
- Application Assistance: Support applicants through the job application process, answering questions, troubleshooting issues, and ensuring a smooth candidate experience.
- Documentation & Reporting: Accurately document all inquiries, incidents, and resolutions in the internal ticketing system to ensure a clear record of activities and follow-up actions.
- Process Improvement: Identify trends in common inquiries and incidents, suggesting improvements to processes and resources to enhance efficiency and support.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with HR, Talent Acquisition, Compliance, and Operations teams to resolve issues and streamline processes.
- Knowledge Base Maintenance: Assist in creating and updating resources, guides, and FAQs to empower Field Officers and staff with self-service solutions.
- Ad Hoc Projects: Participate in special projects aimed at improving operational efficiency, training, and support.
Qualifications
Operations Support Analyst Requirements:
Education:
Associate's degree required; Bachelor’s degree preferred.
Experience:
2 years of experience in a customer support, operations, or help desk role. Experience in a security, healthcare, or field service environment is a plus.
Skills:
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to handle high call volumes and respond efficiently to inquiries.
- Proficiency in using support software, ticketing systems, and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Problem-solving mindset with the ability to prioritize and handle multiple tasks.
- Empathy and patience in dealing with staff under stressful circumstances.
Other Requirements:
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
- Availability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends if required.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS & WORK ENVIRONMENTWork hours will vary depending on assignments, client schedules, project deadlines, and the needs of the company. Workweeks may exceed 40 hours and may involve any of the 7 days of the week, depending on the needs of the business. The work environment may be fast-paced and stressful or may also be quiet and slow-paced. All environments and pace of work will require alertness and ability to perform under pressure.
While performing the duties of this job, the employee must be able to sit, stand, and walk for variable amounts of time throughout an assigned shift; use hands to finger, handle or feel objects, tools or controls; reach with hands and arms; climb stairs; occasionally stoop, kneel, or crouch. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move objects 25 pounds or more. Specific vision abilities required by the job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus. Frequently engages in mental concentration, analysis, and formulation.
