Job Overview
We are seeking a motivated and dependable Tarheel Shuttle Buggy Operator to join our asphalt paving crew. In this role, you will operate specialized equipment to support paving operations. Your mechanical aptitude and site experience will be essential to success.
Duties
- Operate the shuttle buggy to transport to employees and materials to job sites
- Assist with paving activities and related materials.
- Operate heavy equipment such as loaders, excavators, and dump trucks to move materials around the site efficiently.
- Conduct routine inspections of equipment, perform basic mechanical troubleshooting, and perform minor maintenance as required.
- Follow safety protocols diligently to maintain a safe construction environment for all team members.
- Collaborate with the crew to meet project deadlines while maintaining high standards of quality.
Qualifications
- Proven experience operating heavy equipment such as loaders, excavators, dump trucks.
- Knowledge of paving processes.
- Mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot and perform minor repairs.
- Paving site experience with familiarity in concrete work and asphalt paving operations.
- Valid commercial driver’s license (CDL) or equivalent for operating commercial vehicles safely.

Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour
