In this role, you will be responsible for preparing high-quality dishes while ensuring the kitchen operates smoothly and efficiently. You will work closely with other kitchen staff to deliver exceptional food service in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities
- Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes and standards.
- Assist in the preparation of ingredients, including chopping vegetables, marinating meats, and measuring spices.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen, including workstations and storage areas.
- Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently, including knives and cooking appliances.
- Collaborate with the kitchen team to ensure timely food service during peak hours.
- Monitor food quality and presentation to meet customer expectations.
- Follow all food safety regulations and guidelines to ensure a safe dining experience.
- Assist with catering events as needed, providing support in food preparation and presentation.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in a cook or culinary role preferred; experience as a dietary aide or in food service is a plus.
- Strong knowledge of food preparation techniques and kitchen operations.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Excellent knife skills and familiarity with various cooking methods.

- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team while also being self-motivated.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends as needed.
